The monitor works just fine via HDMI, but then I can't use GSync or higher than 60hz refresh rate. Installed the Monitor driver from the CD while it's detected as HDMIĬonnect a second monitor via HDMI while Asus on DP, and hit Detect in Windows 10 settings (no display detected via DP)Ĭonnecting monitor to another computer (GeForce GTX 960, doesn't detect monitor via DP) Unplug monitor from wall, wait 10 minutes and try againĬonnect monitor via HDMI and DisplayPort at the same time (nothing detected via DP) Set "Power Saving" to "None" for the PCI-Express in Windows power settings Update the VBIOS on the GTX 970 (v1.82 = NV316MH.186)Įnable "Prefer Maximum Performance" on the GTX in Nvidia Control Panel Uninstalling the NVidia drivers entirely using DDU

Toggling between HDMI and DisplayPort input in the monitor OSD Gently wiggle the cable and holding at various angles Reversing the cable (monitor end plugged into GPU end, vice versa) I can also boot into safe mode and the monitor works just fine via DisplayPort there, too.

I can boot into BIOS and use the monitor just fine, and it shows the Windows loading logo, but as soon as it should show the login screen it turns off with no signal message. About 3 minutes into the game the monitor just turned off and said "No DisplayPort Input Detected." I went into display settings, set the refresh rate to 144hz, then turned on GSync via the NVidia Control Panel, and then I started up a game. I just got an Asus PG279Q today, and after plugging it in to the only DisplayPort port on my MSI Geforce GTX 970 Gaming it was working perfectly.
